Position Overview

We are seeking talented entry-level engineers in Water/Wastewater, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines to support the Resilience Water business line with projects in Westchester County. Key Responsibilities

  • Water/Wastewater Resources Engineer: Evaluate, plan, design, and manage water/wastewater projects including pipelines, treatment, and pumping facilities. Participate in fieldwork such as site visits, construction inspections, water quality analysis, and support asset management through data analytics and reporting.
  • Structural Engineer: Support water and wastewater project designs by preparing calculations, technical reports, permitting, and detailed plans. Collaborate with diverse engineering disciplines, conduct structural investigations, and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Mechanical Engineer: Collaborate on creating construction-ready drawing packages with inter-discipline coordination. Support projects through surveys, data collection, system studies, and by utilizing industry standards (ASHRAE, ASME, IEC) and design software.
  • Electrical Engineer: Provide support in electrical design for water/wastewater facilities with emphasis on power distribution, motor controls, lighting, and communications. Assist in establishing design criteria, performing system analysis with tools like ETAP, and ensure safety and compliance during construction.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil, Water Resources, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • EIT or the ability to obtain the certification within one year of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work or internship experience in engineering consulting
  • Knowledge of or experience with MathCAD, AutoCAD, Revit
  • Experience with water/wastewater facility and/or heavy industrial structural analysis and design
  • Design experience producing IFC drawings for industrial and manufacturing facilities
  • Familiarity with local, national, and/or international building codes (e.g., IBC, National Electrical Code)
