Job Description

Position Overview

Become aRemote Customer Service Representativeand work from home on your own schedule while making a positive impact on patients and caregivers. In this role you will handle inbound and outbound calls on behalf of a client serving self-directed Medicaid programs, ensuring caregivers receive theircompensation, and helping patients receive quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from patients and caregivers with compassion and professionalism.
  • Make outbound calls to provide information and support.
  • Assist with enrollment, program applications, and system setup.
  • Retrieve information to address payroll-related inquiries.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to support upset or frustrated callers.
  • Document call details and outcomes accurately.

Required Qualifications

  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with active listening skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive calls with empathy, patience, and strong de-escalation techniques.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort discussing numbers and compensation matters confidently.
  • Must meet home office requirements: a computer running Windows 10/11 with at least 8GB RAM, 6 CPU cores, 500MB free disk space, dual monitors, a USB noise-cancelling headset, a webcam, up-to-date antivirus software, and access to high-speed wired internet.
