Role and Responsibilities of Supervising Pharmacist:
You will provide leadership, operational management, and strategic direction to maintain high-quality pharmacy performance and patient care.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through accurate prescription processing, immunization administration, and implementation of pharmacy programs in line with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Ensure proper merchandise display, correct pricing, clear signage, and adequate inventory levels.
- Lead and coach associates in customer service best practices to address patient needs within company standards.
- Oversee community outreach activities and encourage team participation in programs that positively impact the community.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and legal regulations by reviewing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety measures, and conducting quality and safety audits.
Required Skills and Experience of Supervising Pharmacist:
- Proven ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical skills to improve pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
- Ability to interpret financial data to make sound business decisions.
- Experience managing pharmacy operations and supervising staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC certification.
- Valid state Pharmacy license required at the time of hire.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, or State Pharmacy Association).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience practicing pharmacy within the United States.
Compensation and Benefits of Supervising Pharmacist:
- Annual salary range: $112,000 - $197,000
- Additional potential earnings through annual or quarterly performance-based bonuses
- Compensation may vary depending on Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) or organizational complexity
