We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our sales team. In this role, you will gain new customers, retain current ones, and increase our market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Retain the current book of business with timely phone follow-ups
- Solicit, collect, and process payments for installments, renewals, new policies, and other services
- Create a positive experience for customers by greeting them, taking payments, answering inbound calls, and processing policy changes
- Provide outstanding customer service by evaluating incoming renewals and re-quoting per company guidelines
- Collaborate as a team player by following standard operating practices to accomplish goals
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
- Maintain a strong work ethic with total commitment to success each day
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Quote and bind Personal Lines Policies, including auto, home, and renters insurance*
- Work a 40-hour week with a Monday to Saturday schedule, with one weekday off
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Insurance License or apply for one within 90 days
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
- At least 1 year of independent insurance agent experience
- High School diploma or equivalent with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Impeccable attendance, team player attitude, coachability, and goal orientation
- Basic computer skills (web browsing, word processing, Excel/Google Sheets, etc.)
- Passion for great customer service and a responsible, self-motivated nature
Preferred Qualifications
- Notary Public Appointment* with potential for company-sponsored appointment after 90 days
- Income Tax Preparation experience is a plus
- Auto insurance sales experience of at least 1 year
- License/Certification: Insurance License or ability to obtain (limited lines or P&C) is preferred
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Base Hourly Pay: $17 - $20+ (depending on qualifications) plus commissions/bonuses; Annual salary range of $39,000.00 - $45,000.00
- Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
- PTO: Accrual up to 40 hours in the first year plus additional paid time off
- Bonus: $350 one-time bonus after the first 1000 working hours
