Job Description
Position Overview
As a Research Analyst at Ipsos you’ll work with some of the world’s most recognized brands to solve their biggest challenges. You will be an integral part of dynamic research projects that directly impact client strategies.
Compensation: The salary range for this role in New York, NY is $55,500 to $65,500. Your final base salary will be determined based on factors including location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage survey research projects within timelines and budgets, collaborating with Operations teams to oversee all operational components.
- Design questionnaires and plan analyses.
- Perform quality checks at various stages of research to ensure accuracy and avoid errors.
- Manage overall project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and approved at key stages.
- Analyze and interpret survey results; prepare reports and presentations.
- Develop an understanding of clients’ business issues and the industries they operate in.
Required Qualifications

- Can create killer stories in presentations, visually and in writing.
- Get excited about what makes customers happy.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in analytical or insights-focused fields (e.g., economics, marketing, psychology, sociology, statistics, or similar programs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for uncovering insights.
- Experience working with survey applications (e.g., Qualtrics, Google Consumer Surveys).
- Familiarity with quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) with the ability to use macros for increased efficiency.
- Experience with questionnaire design, sampling approaches, and tabulation planning.
- Serious MS skills – you are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
