Position Overview
Join UChicago Medicine as an In-House Registry Staff Nurse for our Pre-Op PACU. A Staff Nurse is a registered professional nurse (RN) who manages patient‐centered care that is outcome directed. You will be accountable for providing comprehensive care and supervising those directly under your charge. - Rotating Shifts – Minimum of 40 hours per 6-week schedule
- Unit/Department: Pre-Op/PACU
- CBA Code: NNU
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN degree or higher preferred
- Associate Degree Nurses are required to enroll in a BSN program within six to nine months of hire and complete their BSN degree within 30 months. ADN nurses receive 100% tuition reimbursement toward a BSN degree from an accredited program
- Current Illinois RN license
- Active BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years ICU experience
