Position Overview

The CRM Reporting and Data Analyst position is responsible for the strategic oversight, technical leadership, and day‐to‐day management of the CRM system’s reporting capabilities and secondary data analytic tools for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, and Open Studies. The role ensures that reports effectively support student recruitment and admissions efforts while driving data‐informed decision-making. The Analyst develops and executes reports for senior leadership, manages external data integrations, and oversees reporting pertinent to workflows, drip campaigns, admission decisions, counselor interactions, and event attendance. This proactive leader will leverage expertise in CRM reporting and data analytics to advance MICA's mission. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Salary Range: $54,900 - $68,600.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical reporting expert and administrator for the CRM system, managing analytics and reporting.
  • Design and deliver end-user training and document processes, data governance, and best practices.
  • Oversee data uploads and downloads involving prospective, inquiry, and applicant data, ensuring seamless integration with external sources and the Student Information System.
  • Implement system upgrades, conduct testing, and maintain current knowledge on CRM updates, best practices, and data integrity standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align CRM functionalities with institutional goals and identify opportunities for enhancements.
  • Support form building and data capture approaches for event scheduling, registration processes, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau to collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to support strategic objectives.
  • Develop actionable insights and data-driven strategies to enhance the student experience and optimize recruitment outcomes.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that communicate key performance indicators and emerging trends.
  • Develop reports on the efficacy of communication workflows, including drip campaigns, personalized messaging, and admission notifications.
  • Provide timely insights to stakeholders using CRM and analytics data to inform decision-making.
  • Participate as an area representative for Enrollment Management in broader data stewardship and institutional reporting efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support institutional goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, computer science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analytics and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL or SPSS for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience with data analytic tools including Tableau, Power BI, Python, or Cognos BI Analytics.
  • Experience with industry-standard CRM and data analytic tools (e.g., SLATE, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Ellucian Banner).
  • Experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize CRM interfaces and reports.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with higher education enrollment marketing using Slate or similar CRM.
  • Familiarity with data and application sources such as CommonApp, standard test scores, and purchased lists.
  • Experience with student information systems such as PeopleSoft.
