Job Description

Position Overview

For a recent graduate with an interest in designing HVAC systems for large industrial and commercial facilities. Join an integrated team of architects, engineers and project managers and engage in challenging projects up to $500 million for many of the biggest brands in the industry. This key role will develop a broad set of engineering competencies, technical design knowledge, consultation and problem-solving skills in an environment that values collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Manager of Mechanical Engineering.
  • Participates on design teams to prepare drawings and specifications for HVAC systems including critical process air handling systems, ductwork design and installation detailing, and hydronic heating & cooling systems (such as steam and hot water boilers, chillers and cooling towers).
  • Proactively works across multi-discipline design teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualifications: BSME, BSMET, BSAE or related degree; EI a plus
  • Familiarity with Revit a plus
  • Intelligent contributor who adds value and drives assignments to completion
  • Curious in nature; interacts effectively in a team oriented environment
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently
  • Strong work ethic and leadership capabilities
