Job Description

Position Overview

Logistics company seeking qualified individuals to join our team for a Logistics Coordinator/Customer Service role within the freight transportation industry. The candidate will be responsible for answering phones, tracking and tracing shipments, communicating with vendors and customers, entering shipments into our shipping system, managing emails as well as quoting customers and obtaining costs from vendors. We are a small office operating within a large company network.

Location: Remote (work from home)
Schedule: Full-time
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Start date:

Jan 5th, 2026. Remote training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and customers.
  • Enter shipment details into the shipping system and manage emails.
  • Quote customers and obtain costing information from vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidates must be organized, detail oriented, and possess strong follow-up skills with a quick learning ability.
  • Must have knowledge of domestic and/or international freight operations.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-stress and demanding environment.
  • A highly organized, self-sufficient, and dependable individual who can work independently.
  • Freight and logistics experience is a plus.
