We are seeking a Junior Insurance Operations Specialist in Omaha that will assist with the operations needs of our insurance practice. This position is for a growing team in Omaha with an award winning, top-tier firm under the Private Client Group umbrella. This team thrives on its collaborative culture and a supportive team environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is critical. Responsibilities include working with clients through the insurance application process as well as providing ongoing service and support for their policies.
The Junior Investment Operations Specialist will occasionally interact with clients, and will help ensure the maintenance of an efficient, organized office that allows the representative to focus his/her energy on building client relationships.
Your Responsibilities
Application Processing
- Assist clients with the completion of life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, and annuity applications.
- Help clients understand their insurance options and guide them through the application process.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters to ensure the timely and accurate processing of applications.
- Follow up with clients on pending applications and required documentation.
Client Service & Support
- Handle case notes, processing correspondence, maintaining client case files and filing policy forms, and other paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their policies.
- Support the team with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree: in relevant field of study (preferred)
- Life and Health licensed: or gain licensing within 6 months of employment
- Attention to detail: and ability to multi-task
- Work style: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication
- Technical experience: Experience with NetX360 and the Pershing Platform (preferred)
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain and respect the privacy and confidentiality of all clients and their accounts
- Software familiarity: Familiarity with Microsoft applications, data entry and information retrieval software
