Tier One Automotive Sales Engineer

Position Overview

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan. Movement Search & Delivery is partnering with a tier-one supplier in the automotive manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, they have opened a position for a Sales Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as the interface between technical staff and OEM Customers.
• Determines customer requirements for new products and identifies potential business opportunities.
• Provides technical and commercial support for sales staff.
• Develops and maintains product charts for current and future customer programs.
• Monitors and resolves commercial, timing, and technical issues.
• Facilitates meetings between the customer and the company.
• Tracks design release and prototype material requirement dates.
• Collaborates with customer engineers on system and product concepts.
• Supports launch issues, including attending customer change management meetings for review and approval of product design changes.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Qualifications: Knowledge of 5 Phase, 6S, and lean manufacturing principles
• Experience Required: Current experience in sales engineering
• Qualifications: Experience with APQP documents
