Job Description

Position Overview

As a Financial Specialist Senior within PNC's Retail Banking Finance organization based in Pittsburgh, PA, you will contribute to delivering the best experience for our customers. This role involves preparing reporting packages, forecasts, and financial analysis while collaborating closely with business partners both in-office and, at times, remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly reporting packages, flash reports, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and ad hoc reports.
  • Manage full Business Banking P&L and Balance Sheet aspects, including analysis of sales, lending, expenses, and staffing.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Hyperion/SmartView, and Peoplesoft to perform continuous financial analysis and support decision-making.
  • Design and prepare concise financial reports and dashboards, presenting strategic insights to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate audit, regulatory, and investor requests while maintaining strong control processes and risk management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience (or comparable combination of education and experience).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Hyperion/SmartView, and Peoplesoft, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle detailed financial reporting, forecasting, and budget development.
  • Demonstrated capability in collaborating with various business units and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Account Analysis, Accounting Research, Financial Reporting and Analysis, and Finance Strategy.
  • Strong competence in decision-making, budgeting, business analytics, and managing expenses.
  • Proven track record in people management and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

  • Base Salary: $60,500.00 – $107,800.00 (varies with location, experience, and skills).
