Job Description

Position Overview

As a Supply Chain Representative, you will have the opportunity to help the company grow by reducing costs and driving continuous improvement. You will be primarily responsible for identifying products for purchase, communicating with suppliers, and confirming pricing details. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting procurement activities for new and refurbished terminals, printers, phones, telecommunications equipment, personal computers, and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD). Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently learn technical details regarding new and existing core products and apply that knowledge to secure profitable purchases.
  • Assist with company and customer product and supply acquisitions (Procurement/Buying/Supply Ordering).
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and follow up on any undelivered products.
  • Track market trends on core products to identify optimal buying opportunities or when to refrain from purchasing.
  • Compile inventory reports to identify high-velocity and low-stock products, and act to secure stock or arrange drop shipments.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to identify high-demand products and forecast future needs.
  • Support Management in implementing service and operational strategies.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Reconcile purchase orders based on bid or order parameters and communicate results to sellers.
  • Build and maintain positive, professional internal and external relationships in line with company policies and core values.
  • Establish effective working relationships with team members and support departments.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Supply Chain operations including the bid process, purchasing/logistics, technology services, sales, and customer service.
  • Self-motivated and quick to learn with a drive to achieve high-performance standards.
  • A diligent, professional demeanor combined with a positive attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to embrace learning, change, multitasking, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting at all customer levels.
  • A strong commitment to integrity, honesty, and caring in all business relationships.
  • Proficiency with basic office functions including Microsoft Office, email, telephone, and computer usage.
