As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will create content and execute marketing campaigns that nurture a highly engaged brand community and activate customer demand. You will lead strategy for social channels and manage tactical execution across a variety of marketing projects, collaborating with category, sales, creative teams and the consumer audience from concept to measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy across social channels to nurture and maintain an active, engaged community
- Collaborate with the creative services team on design, copy, image, and content needs for digital marketing
- Write articles, blog posts, and creative content
- Oversee production of digital publications, including asset gathering and creative coordination
- Partner with teams and individuals to collect project needs and specifications
- Coordinate marketing and promotional elements for events and outreach opportunities
- Monitor campaign expenses and metrics, and report on results
- Act as a brand steward by upholding brand standards and ensuring consistent communication
- Extract and translate information from subject matter experts across technical, sales, and category teams
- Manage external vendors and partners as required
- Support the improvement of workflow processes as needed
- Engage with the industry community and build partnerships with representatives and influencers
- Balance multiple assignments independently with shifting priorities
- Analyze and adapt to marketing trends with evolving strategies and tactics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications, marketing, or new media
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or related field
- Integrated marketing communications experience, including digital media
- Demonstrable social media expertise
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with digital communication tools
- Content creation experience is preferred
- Results-driven, proactive, and a natural catalyst
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders
