Position Overview

Curium is the world’s largest nuclear medicine company with more than a century of industry experience. We develop, manufacture and distribute world-class radiopharmaceutical products to help patients around the globe. With manufacturing facilities across Europe and the United States, we deliver SPECT, PET and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical solutions to over 14 million patients annually. The NA Chief Operations Officer (COO) oversees multi-site operations across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, regulatory affairs, and the Project Management Office (PMO). This role focuses on operational reliability, process optimization, and global coordination while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The COO partners closely with the International COO to drive standardization, deliver financial performance, and enable long-term value creation across Curium’s North America operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts with ownership, agility, and a bias for action to create value in dynamic environments.
  • Aligns operational strategy with corporate goals across multiple sites while managing P&L, cost control, and overall financial performance.
  • Optimizes manufacturing and supply chain efficiency and resilience while ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, NRC, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
  • Builds and leads high-performing teams across sites, emphasizing accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Leads process optimization and directs the PMO to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Partners with international leadership to ensure global alignment, standardization, and effective regional execution.
  • Maintains operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (e.g., FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP).

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • Experience Required: 15+ years of operational leadership, with 10+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • • Proven oversight of multi-site operations in aseptic pharmaceuticals or highly regulated industries.
  • • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, compliance requirements, and quality systems.
