Position Overview

Ion Solar is hiring for an Entry Level Sales and Marketing position in Columbus, OH. In this role you will engage in door‐to‐door canvassing for solar leads and set up appointments for our closing team. You will receive hands‐on training, mentorship, and have the potential for uncapped commission earnings (averaging $2,500 per week) if you are self-motivated with strong communication skills. This in‐person role is part of the fastest growing solar company in the nation, a family-owned business operating since 2012.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing and answer questions about solar energy.
  • Set up appointments for the closing team.
  • Acquire energy bills, generate proposals, and close deals while assisting customers during the install process.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions.
  • Engage with prospective clients to effectively communicate the benefits of solar energy.

Required Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and driven with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and a coachable team player.
  • Willingness to professionally canvass neighborhoods for new solar leads.
  • Reliable transportation; Driver's License (Required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in door-to-door sales or canvassing (preferred but not required).
