Position Overview
We're Hiring: Lead Electrical Engineer for Industrial, Manufacturing & Process Clients in the Greater Baltimore Region.
We are recruiting a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer to join our client, a mid-sized, employee-owned Engineering & Design firm.
In this visible leadership role, you will serve as the electrical technical lead and supervisor for the Baltimore MD office,
supporting key market sectors in energy, chemical, and regulated process industries within a collaborative, relationship-driven engineering environment.
Compensation: $145,000 - $158,000 Base
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the project discipline lead and supervise a team of 2–4 electrical staff while developing electrical design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Review, analyze, and approve the work of junior engineers and designers.
- Lead the team in performing both conceptual and detailed design for low-voltage power distribution, lighting and grounding systems, motor controls, PLC/PAC, and HMI systems.
- Lead project meetings, present technical information, and directly interface with clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial process environments.
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in designing wiring diagrams, control schematics, power, conduit, and electrical equipment specifications.
- Working knowledge of related industry electrical codes.
- Active PE License required and U.S. Citizenship required due to client project requirements.
