Position Overview

Sales Development Representative I Security (Full Time) based in United States. Primary location is RTP, North Carolina, US with alternate locations including Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Herndon, VA; Richfield, OH; and Richardson, TX. This role supports Cisco’s Incubation Security Sales team where you will connect with prospects and generate excitement for innovative security products. Compensation Range: 82000 USD - 103300 USD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect across industries and verticals by leveraging insights, internal tools, and cutting-edge technology to uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Inside Security Sellers and cross-functional teams to drive impact and expand your assigned territory.
  • Master Cisco’s Security product portfolio—including solutions like Duo, Identity Intelligence, XDR, AI Defense, and Hypershield—and position them based on the value and outcomes they deliver.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or degree program (or relevant work experience equivalent).
  • 1-2 year(s) of outbound sales and/or lead-generation experience in a high-tech or SaaS company.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally eligible to live and work in the applicable country without visa support or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience prospecting in the cybersecurity space.
  • Demonstrated success with cold-calling and outbound prospecting for new customers.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
