Job Description
Position Overview
M&S Engineering, LLC seeks a qualified Electrical Engineer with preferred electrical design experience to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical design on various water and wastewater projects.
- Create/modify design documents and drawings for a project, including one-lines, panel schedules, site plans, specifications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, and generating bills of material.
- Construction administration such as RFI’s, submittals, and field observations/inspections.
- Prepare scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that schedules and budgets are met.
- Coordinate electrical equipment requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team.
- Work with team to identify tasks and complete the electrical design.
- Work with the Project Manager to manage project progress.
- Collaboration in multi-discipline projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated. Capable of working on individual assignments or as part of a multi-discipline team.
- Able to work well with other engineering disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Take personal responsibility and ownership for the quality and accuracy of work product.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
- Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in water and wastewater projects.
- Proficiency using AutoCAD or Revit.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Experienced with SKM Power System Software (Arc Flash and Coordination Studies).
- NFPA 70E certification.
- Registered EIT or PE.
