Job Description

Position Overview

As an IT PC Refresh Support Tech, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the PC hardware refresh deployment project. This 100% onsite role is located at 400 Jamison Road, Elma, New York 14059. You will build, swap out, and deploy refreshed hardware to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. The position requires US Citizenship and runs from Nov 10, 2025 to Nov 7, 2026. Pay Rate Range: 25.50 – 28.70/h on W2.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and support of endpoint software
  • Deployment of PC equipment and accessories
  • Provide guidance and explain policies and procedures to end-users
  • Troubleshoot end-user PC, network, printing, and application issues
  • Diagnose, research, and resolve routine end-user issues
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate team after troubleshooting and document progress in the ITSM tool
  • Provide day-to-day operations support as Level 2 to end users
  • Complete detailed documentation in the ticketing system, including incidents, requests, steps taken, and involved parties

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in a customer support role involving technical knowledge of products, services, and IT systems
  • Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications
  • Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to establish reasonable deadlines for resolution
  • Experience with remote service desk software (e.g., Bomgar) and other remote access desktop programs
  • Familiarity with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS
  • Excellent professional written and interpersonal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; IT-related coursework or certifications a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as Windows 7/10, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, ITILv4 foundation, Dell Proven Professional
