Accounting Internship and Entry Level - International Students Welcome

Position Overview

The Accounting Staff role offers an exciting opportunity to work in key financial operations including accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, profit & loss and balance sheet preparation, financial and operational analysis/reporting, and tax preparation. This position is ideal for students pursuing or holding a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Marketing. It is designed as an Internship with the possibility of converting to a paid role after three months for top performers, while experienced candidates may be offered an immediate paid position. Remote work is allowed and H1 Sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AR, AP, bank reconciliation, and preparation of PL and BS reports
• Perform financial and operational analysis and reporting using Excel, QuickBooks, and Google Sheets
• Conduct tax preparation tasks
• Leverage strong analytical skills to support financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing or possessing a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Marketing
• Minimum GPA of 3.60
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (minimum 8 hours per week) based on academic commitments
• Proximity to major colleges (Baruch and NYU) or reliable commute/relocation to New York, NY 10010

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with QuickBooks and Google Sheets
• Prior professional experience preferred for immediate paid opportunities
