Position Overview
The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for the successful management of the digital marketing and content strategies for various businesses. This role requires an innovator, trendsetter, and progressive thinker who can connect digital and content initiatives to all aspects of the business to drive growth and revenue opportunities.
Combining an in-depth knowledge of client business objectives, online strategies, and competitive landscapes with extensive digital marketing industry experience, this individual will deliver effective campaigns across social media and email marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop unique strategies within the digital arena to meet/exceed objectives including email marketing, social media, and web content.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for digital marketing for different accounts.
- Plan, develop, and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive site traffic, conversions, revenue, and positive customer experiences across social and email marketing.
- Drive customer segmentation and conversion strategies to transform new visitors into customers and loyal, top-tier customers.
- Define, develop, and monitor reports to assess and optimize the effectiveness of marketing initiatives; provide analytical insights that drive positive change.
- Conduct deep customer analytics to understand shopping behaviors and preferences; recommend actions based on findings to enhance customer relationships.
- Contribute to brand marketing initiatives with an online strategy that's consistent with overall brand messaging.
- Engage with tagged photos on Facebook and Instagram.
- Monitor and interact with hashtags and competitors’ customers.
- Outreach to new influencers.
- Create and optimize social media profiles.
Required Qualifications
- Past experience in online marketing, content, and social media.
- Strong analytical skills to measure program performance and understand key performance indicators.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for online marketing.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and effectively multi-task.
- Exceptional attention to detail and executional excellence.
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite (preferred but not required), digital marketing tools, Google Webmaster Tools/Analytics, Bing/Yahoo tools, and social media business & ad accounts.
