Position Overview

University Home Care is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as aKINNSER/OASIS- Coding of Medical Charts and QA for Home Health. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical charts and ensuring quality assurance for our home health patients. This position requires strong attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of coding practices, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately code medical charts using the KINNSER/OASIS coding system
• Review and audit medical charts to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of coded charts
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to resolve coding discrepancies
• Conduct quality assurance checks on coded charts to ensure accuracy
• Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current with coding practices

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in coding medical charts using the KINNSER/OASIS coding system
• Knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in coding
