Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HVAC and plumbing system design projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop innovative, sustainable solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams ensuring excellence at every stage.
- Oversee development of detailed construction documents including system designs, specifications, and drawings.
- Support construction phase activities—respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and review submittals.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters, fostering growth and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience as a Professional Mechanical Engineer focused on HVAC and plumbing system design.
- Current registration as a Mechanical Engineer in the State of California or ability to obtain registration within 6 months of hire.
- Expertise in system layout, equipment selection, load calculations, and code compliance for HVAC and plumbing designs.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing project teams and resources.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary Range: $145,000 - $185,000 (Actual pay based on license, experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.)
