Position Overview

Palace Entertainment-Raging Waters-San Dimas is seeking responsible, energetic, and communicative individuals to join our summer lifeguard team. In this role, you will ensure the safety of our members, guests, and campers while enjoying competitive pay and endless fun. You’ll also gain valuable experience that develops essential skills such as Leadership, Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Work Ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all members, guests, and campers.
• Maintain safe and inviting aquatics areas.
• Monitor aquatic areas and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high safety standards.
• Communicate effectively and enforce safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Comfort in and around open water with a basic understanding of safety considerations.
• Comfort in deep water and ability to operate watercraft (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak).
• Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisite exams (550-meter open water swim, tread water without hands for 2 minutes, etc.).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or teaching children.
• Red Cross Certification or WSI Certification is preferred.
