Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Lead Niagara 4 / AX - BAS Engineer at Facility Automation Systems (FAS) to lead our team of BAS technicians and OT engineers. In this role, you will design, program, and commission Niagara-based Building Automation Systems for a variety of commercial facilities—including high‐performance offices, healthcare centers, smart campuses, and innovation hubs. The corporate office is located at 11311 McCormick Rd., Hunt Valley, Maryland, serving areas in Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; Northern VA; and South Central PA. Compensation: $100,000–$125,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of Niagara Framework control systems.
• Develop and maintain high-performance control sequences aligned with ASHRAE and LEED standards.
• Manage project documentation, graphics, testing, and client turnover.
• Collaborate with the Cloud-BAS Ecosystem team to integrate Niagara data with SQL databases, APIs, and analytics platforms.
• Train and mentor junior Niagara engineers and technicians.
• Ensure all system deployments meet FAS’s high standards of reliability, cybersecurity, and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Over 5 years of hands-on Niagara AX/N4 programming and integration experience.
• Strong understanding of BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based controls networking.
• Proven experience in designing and commissioning commercial BAS systems (HVAC, lighting, energy).
• Familiarity with ASHRAE guidelines and control sequences.
• Excellent project management and client communication skills.
• Niagara 4 Certification and Tridium JACE experience required.
