Position Overview

Remote Certified Medical Assistant – Enrollment Specialist
Are you a Certified Medical Assistant looking to continue in healthcare from a remote position while still helping patients? At Medsien—a leading provider of Chronic Care Management and Remote Patient Monitoring services—our Enrollment Specialists utilize their clinical expertise, empathy, and knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes. This Full Time, 40 hours a week role is a 1099 position that offers competitive pay and paid training, but it does not come with traditional benefits. Work remotely within the U.S. while making a meaningful difference in patient lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Outreach: Initiate contact with potential CCM and RPM patients and conduct initial assessments to determine eligibility based on established criteria.
  • Education and Information Sharing: Clearly and compassionately explain the benefits of enrolling in CCM/RPM programs and provide detailed information about remote monitoring and care coordination services.
  • Enrollment and Documentation: Assist eligible patients with the enrollment process by ensuring all necessary forms and documentation are completed accurately, and maintain meticulous records of interactions and enrollment details.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest regulations and compliance standards, ensuring all enrollments adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and track your enrollment performance, striving to meet or exceed weekly enrollment goals.

Required Qualifications

  • National Certification in Medical Assisting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy and ability to connect with patients and their families
  • Basic knowledge of chronic health conditions and their management
  • Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
