RN Seasonal -Full Time MULTIPLE POSITIONS

Position Overview

We are seekingSeasonal RN'sfor the Summer at Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Inc., part of the Mass General Brigham system. The primary purpose is to provide nursing services in the Nursing Acute department while ensuring exceptional patient care in compliance with Federal, State, and local standards. The schedule covers rotations from May 19 and June 2 through September (day/eve and/or eve/night shifts). Location:One Hospital Road.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical, psychological, and social dimensions, including comprehensive written assessments upon admission and discharge.
• Develop and communicate a nursing care plan based on thorough assessment data.
• Implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies and safety protocols.
• Provide patient and family education, including detailed instructions on medication, side effects, and discharge planning.
• Report patient care or management issues to the Clinical Coordinator or supervisor and coordinate unit routines effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2-3 years of Medical/Surgical experience.
