Design Engineer I

Position Overview

Entrust Solutions Group is an innovative engineering consulting firm serving over 35 different industries. As a Design Engineer on the Gas Programs team, you will work closely with senior engineers to gain invaluable technical guidance on underground utility design and roadway projects. You will ensure designs meet project specifications, communicate effectively regarding scope, schedule, and quality challenges, and collaborate with designers and drafters to complete comprehensive design packages. This position is based in either Indianapolis, Indiana or Lisle, Illinois, offering remote flexibility with occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with senior engineers on design projects.
• Ensure project designs meet specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively about scope, schedule, and quality challenges.
• Collaborate with designers and drafters to complete comprehensive design packages.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project and client visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• DOT, municipal, roadway, transportation, and/or utility experience.
• Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bluebeam software.
