Job Description

Position Overview

Hollingsworth Pack is seeking a talented Structural Engineer (E.I.T. or P.E.) to join our Austin, Texas office. The position requires a minimum commitment of 30-hours per week in-office with the option to transition to a hybrid remote schedule after approximately 1 year. This role offers the opportunity to work within a 12-person team, develop technical expertise in structural design, and grow in project management and client relationship building. Location: Austin, Texas. Schedule: Minimum 30 hours per week in-office, with potential hybrid remote after 1 year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis and design to produce construction documents primarily for commercial buildings constructed of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
  • Responsibilities: Conduct construction site visits for quality control and contractor oversight.
  • Responsibilities: Interface closely with our multi-disciplined engineering team.
  • Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with clients on behalf of the company.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural coursework.
  • Qualifications: E.I.T. certification required; P.E. certification is a plus.
  • Requirements: Experience and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and/or Tekla design software.
  • Requirements: Fluency in English.
