Correctional Clinical Associate (CCA) - Ney Unit

Position Overview

The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). This role provides diversified administrative, clerical, and technical support within a correctional healthcare facility through electronic information systems management, medical records processing, or materials inventory/procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform administrative functions such as operating personal computers for data entry, generating reports, managing files, and drafting routine correspondence.
• Retrieve, review, and maintain medical record charts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper filing.
• Manage materials by receiving, storing, distributing, and inventorying supplies, including narcotic-based medicines and medical materials.
• Execute medically delegated tasks under physician direction and RN supervision, following approved competency guidelines.
• Operate data entry systems and perform related administrative or facility support duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience in administrative support, medical, business, or applicable related fields.

Compensation

• Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
