COOK - FULL TIME

Position Overview

Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS) is seeking a FULL TIME DIETARY SERVICES COOK for our Dietary Department. In this role, you will be integral to ensuring high-quality food preparation and service for patients, guests, and staff in accordance with approved menu cycles and production sheets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and clean up breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner according to the scheduled shift.
• Follow varied shift times based on departmental and hospital needs.
• Ensure meals are prepared in alignment with approved menu cycles and production sheets for patients, guests, and facility staff.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is REQUIRED.
• 1-2 years of experience in quantity cooking with basic knowledge of modified diets.
• Current Illinois Food Service Sanitation Certificate is REQUIRED.
• Primary Source Verification via the State of Illinois Department of Public Health.
