Position Overview
Head of Supply Chain and Logistics for a popular consumer products company. The Company is seeking a leader to take full ownership of the end-to-end execution, scalability, resilience, and cost discipline of its supply chain. In this role, you will ensure that products are manufactured, stored, and delivered reliably while safeguarding quality, margins, and growth velocity. You will manage manufacturer relationships, production planning, batch scheduling, and lead the onboarding and qualification of new manufacturing partners. Additionally, you will be responsible for supplier redundancy and risk mitigation, COGS management, cost-down initiatives, inventory planning, and optimizing warehousing and shipping processes. Collaboration with product, marketing, and commercial teams is essential to align the supply chain with overall business growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete supply chain execution and scalability for the organization.
- Ensure reliable manufacturing, storage, and delivery of products while maintaining quality and margins.
- Manage relationships with manufacturers, including production planning and batch scheduling.
- Lead the onboarding and qualification of new manufacturing partners.
- Drive supplier redundancy, risk mitigation, COGS management, and cost-down initiatives.
- Optimize inventory planning, warehousing, and shipping processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and commercial teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: 7-12+ years in supplements or functional CPG, with a proven track record of owning the supply chain at a scaling brand.
- Qualifications: Strong operational capabilities, commercial judgment, and extensive experience managing CMOs, ingredient suppliers, MOQs, and lead-time management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in cost-down initiatives and optimizing operational efficiencies.
- Comfortable building structured processes without hindering growth.
