Position Overview

This is a seasonal position in support of our Christmas at the Library program, assisting guests while celebrating the Savior's birth with family and friends through our dining services options. The role includes assisting with a traditional buffet-style Christmas Dinner experience and the Graham Brother's Dairy Bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests with fulfilling orders, guest seating, preparation and sanitization of dining areas, replenishing buffet items, and other tasks
• Assemble and serve Dairy Bar orders professionally
• Handle payments for guest orders through cash register operation
• Prepare specialty coffee beverages with accuracy and consistency
• Maintain orderly and neat kitchen and serving areas through cleaning, taking out trash, and being responsive to cleaning needs
• Ensure Dairy Bar is stocked with products and food to effectively serve guests
• Appropriately engage with guests to ensure a positive experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Flexibility to do various duties simultaneously
• Clean, neat appearance in accordance with expected dress code
• Flexibility when job parameters or directions change

Working Conditions

• Work closely with the general public and program guests
• Possibility of multiple interruptions at any given time
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
