Our Duluth, GA office is seeking an Associate Customer Care Representative to join the team.
Job Overview: This role involves handling inbound calls to sell policies and service current accounts. Ideal candidates possess prior service and sales experience, demonstrate a professional phone demeanor, and excel in teamwork.
Compensation: Starting annual salary of $40,950 ($21.00/hr) with potential earnings up to $48,590 ($24.92/hr) based on experience and applicable licenses. The position follows a 37.5-hour work week (Monday–Friday, core hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with select holidays, occasional Saturdays, and the possibility to work from home up to two days a week once trained.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional telephone conversations to service existing accounts in a high call volume environment.
- Convert advertising, direct mail, and other warm leads into new business by handling nationwide inbound calls.
- Service customer accounts using knowledge of legal terminology, policy language, and home construction.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships to gain customer trust and respect.
- Problem-solve, multitask, and prioritize work efficiently.
- Obtain a state insurance license and complete ongoing education requirements; extensive training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous customer service and sales experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer keyboard and data processing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous insurance background (a plus but not required).
