Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Generates sales quotes to customers for equipment & generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on Taylor Forklifts & all generator makes and models.
- Quotes services in the field and works with all customer relations.
- Develops new customers in an assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
- Attends and works industry tradeshows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
- Creates and implements strategies for equipment & generator service and rental growth.
- Collaborates with the Taylor Power System sales representative to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities.
- Coordinates with other PSSR in NC for regional customer and business growth strategies unique to the territory customer base.
- Provides a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and field demands.
- Maintains and submits accurate, timely expense reports to the North Caroline Sudden Service Center Manager.
- Maintains and builds customer business in the N.C. Central to Western N.C. territory.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possesses tact and diplomacy with customers and peers.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, as the position requires driving a company-owned vehicle under strict corporate insurance coverage.
- Occasionally required to stay overnight at out-of-town locations.
- Education: High School Education or GED equivalent
- Experience Required: Sales Parts/Service experience a must.
