Entry Level Staff Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated tax professional to join our team. In this role, you will prepare federal and state tax returns, financial statements, and other critical reports for a variety of entity types. You will work closely with clients while delivering exceptional service and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, S Corps, trusts, estates, and non-profits.
• Prepare financial statements for all entity types, including reviews and compilations.
• Prepare sales tax, franchise tax returns, and payroll reports.
• Provide consulting and additional services based on experience.
• Tax Season Hours:50-55 hours per week, alternating Saturdays.

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field of study.
• High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CS Professional Suite, or comparable accounting and tax software.
• Ability to multi-task with a keen attention to detail and a strong desire to provide excellent client service.
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• 0-2 years tax experience in a public accounting firm.
