Role: This is a full-time on-site position for a Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer specializing in MEP outsource opportunities in the Wichita, Kansas Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will design mechanical and electrical systems, create and modify CAD drawings, conduct inspections, and coordinate maintenance activities while working closely with team members to ensure project goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical and electrical systems for varied projects.
  • Create and modify CAD drawings accurately.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure systems function efficiently.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and collaborate with team members.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in Mechanical Design and/or Engineering Design, with knowledge in construction for healthcare, educational, federal, manufacturing-industrial, and wastewater plant projects.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Rivit.
  • Experience in conducting project reviews and adhering to industry standards as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the AEC industry is a plus.
