Manufacturing Assembly Technical Technician

Position Overview

As a Manufacturing Assembly Technical Technician Associate, you will perform manufacturing assembly operations, troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, and implement effective solutions. Working within the Indianapolis Manufacturing Assembly team and reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will help ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes of equipment faults, malfunctions, or failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Implement solutions and improvements within the assembly operations.
• Travel to Miami, FL for training (15 to 20 weeks) as required.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Capability to operate powered industrial equipment and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent bending, stooping, walking).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, including participation on a kaizen project team.
• Demonstrated success in managing day-to-day activities with organizational agility.
