Information Technology Internship

Position Overview

This paid internship provides experiential learning by integrating classroom knowledge with real-life work experience. Interns will gain skills in various IT disciplines while experiencing FrankCrum’s family culture and Pillars of Excellence – Integrity, Prosperity, and Affinity.

Salary: $20.00 per hour
Location: 100 South Missouri Avenue, Clearwater, Florida 33756
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (with a one hour lunch)
The program is designed for junior or senior year students enrolled in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related programs and is anticipated to run for 8-10 weeks starting Monday, June 1st, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in one or more areas including Infrastructure/Network Management, Service Desk/Technical Support, or Application Development/Support.
• Participate in hands-on projects to learn IT Help Desk/Customer Support, On-Prem and Cloud Data Center Operations, IT Risk Assessment/Compliance, and Cyber Security.
• Gain exposure to Business Analysis, Project Management, and Data Analysis to drive business insights.

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior year student in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related program.
• Ability to secure temporary accommodations in the Clearwater/Tampa Bay area during the internship.
• Availability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the 8-10 week program.
