Position Overview
Location: Territory is Central and West U.S.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team as a Security Solutions Engineering Leader within our Global Security Sales Organization. In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, and regional leaders in the Global Enterprise segment to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth. You will lead and mentor a highly motivated sales engineering team dedicated to delivering transformative technology and positioning Cisco’s security solutions as trusted advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales engineering team.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies in collaboration with Security Sales Leadership.
- Build executive relationships and articulate Cisco’s business value and technical capabilities.
- Drive revenue growth by positioning Cisco’s security portfolio effectively against competitive offerings.
- Recruit, develop, and manage team performance to achieve strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ Years of experience in pre-sales engineering.
- Demonstrated experience aligning go-to-market initiatives with trends in the Security industry.
- Ability to articulate security architecture integrated with cloud, networking, and data center technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ Years of pre-sales engineering leadership or equivalent cybersecurity pre-sales experience.
- Strong leadership skills with a consistent track record of high performance.
- BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent with working knowledge of the Cisco and Splunk security portfolios.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Starting salary range of $230,000.00 to $289,800.00 with additional performance-based incentive pay opportunities. Specific ranges vary by location (e.g., New York City Metro Area: $250,000.00 - $362,300.00; Non-Metro NY & Washington state: $239,000.00 - $346,400.00).
