Position Overview

CPH has an opening in its Sanford, Florida office for the position of Human Resources Coordinator/ Assistant. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional with at least 1-2 years of experience in the Human Resources field. The successful candidate will work from our Sanford office and join a multi-disciplined team at an established Architectural and Engineering Design Firm that has been in business for over 40 years and consistently ranked among the Top 500 Design Firms in the nation.Hiring Bonus of $1,000 is offered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support for recruitment, on-boarding, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain HR files and records.
  • Post ads for open positions, review resumes to evaluate applicant qualifications, route to hiring manager, schedule interviews, and track applicants through the tracking system.
  • File papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Track company licensure for professionals and the firm.
  • Serve as back-up receptionist as needed.
  • Handle copying, faxing, scanning, and other clerical duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Flexible and proactive with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the Human Resources field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
