Outside HVAC/PVF Sales Rep

Position Overview

We are a 130 year old Plumbing & Heating Wholesaler with 6 locations throughout the WNY area. We are seeking a PVF/HVAC Sales Rep to call on Residential & Light Commercial HVAC customers in Western New York. Prior experience in the PVF/HVAC field and HVAC equipment knowledge is required. The candidate must be open to travelling across multiple counties and be remote sales savvy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with customers to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities and manage customer accounts.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a technical sales or business development role.
• Strong sales skills, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with account management and customer service.
• Knowledge of market and industry trends related to our products/service.
