Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Strategist at Boost Media Group, a full-service digital marketing agency in the Communications industry. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and communicating strategic marketing plans to achieve our company's and clients' business goals. You will lead and optimize marketing efforts for both company and client campaigns by collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a remote position with part-time hours averaging 20+ hours per week and potential for full-time, and compensation is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development and Implementation:
    • Set specific marketing goals aligned with overall business targets.
    • Design and implement cohesive marketing strategies across various channels.
    • Develop digital campaigns to increase web traffic and brand awareness.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing initiatives.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
    • Analyze sales and marketing metrics to inform decision-making.
    • Forecast market trends and provide insights to guide future strategies.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Liaise with internal teams to ensure brand consistency.
    • Collaborate with external stakeholders for effective execution of marketing plans.
    • Communicate marketing strategies and results to leadership teams.
    • Address advertising needs and provide recommendations to the marketing team.

Required Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a marketing strategist or in a similar role.
    • Proven track record of successful marketing strategy implementation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Content Management Systems.
    • Experience with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
    • Understanding of web design principles and familiarity with HTML-5 and website metadata.
    • Experience with Google Search Console.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Creative thinking and innovative approach to marketing.
    • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • In-depth knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
    • Must be willing to work and attend meetings during normal business hours in the United States.
    • Must be comfortable speaking with and working with clients via Zoom.
    • Must have a computer or laptop with reliable high-speed internet.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SEMRush is a plus.
