🚀 Hiring: Chemistry Laboratory's experience with QA Analyst

We are seeking a QA Analyst to support the Indiana Department of Health Chemistry Laboratory's implementation of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Your Responsibilities

• Work closely with chemists and software developers to ensure quality assurance requirements are accurately captured within the LIMS.
• Validate system functionality with a strong focus on traceability and compliance.
• Review chemistry data packages for regulatory agencies including EPA, FDA, IDEM, and Lead & Healthy Homes programs.
• Evaluate chemistry procedures for method deviations and compliance.
• Validate Excel spreadsheets used for analytical calculations.
• Review annual competencies and laboratory quality documentation.
• Develop and support AI-based procedures for spreadsheet and SOP validations.
• Analyze program outputs, reports, policies, and procedures for quality and accuracy.
• Recommend improvements and corrective actions to development teams.

Required Skills

• ✔ Quality Assurance experience in Analytical, Environmental, Chemical, or Laboratory environments
• ✔ Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• ✔ Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and data validation
• ✔ Experience reviewing laboratory documentation and SOPs
• ✔ Advanced Excel skills
• ✔ Excellent communication skills to collaborate with chemists and developers

Preferred

• • Environmental laboratory experience
• • FDA/EPA compliance exposure
• • Software testing and validation experience
