Position Overview

Rick Engineering Company (RICK) is seeking a confident, entry-level design engineer to join our Civil Design Division at our Riverside office. As an Assistant Civil Engineering Designer in Riverside, CA, you will work on meaningful, landmark projects in the Inland Empire region alongside industry-leading experts, contributing to turning clients’ and communities’ dreams into reality while growing your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on landmark projects.
• Assist in civil design and drafting for land development projects.
• Work closely with experienced engineers to develop innovative solutions.
• Contribute to projects that make a positive impact on the community.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (preferred) or equivalent education.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or four years of equivalent work experience in land development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed coursework in Transportation and Highway Engineering.
• Completed coursework in Hydrology and Hydraulics.
• Completed coursework in Surveying.
• CADD experience.
• A good driving record.
