Software Engineers

Position Overview

Wisefolks Technologies of TX is seeking skilled professionals for various project sites across the US. In this role, you will design, develop, and modify ETL processes for data migration, direct programming efforts and create documentation, review requirements and finalize software specifications by collaborating with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and developers, supervise programmers, automate workflows, and perform performance tuning and enhancements. Note: Work is at unanticipated project sites throughout the US with infrequent relocations; no additional travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify ETL processes for data migration
• Develop and direct programming efforts and create documentation
• Review requirements and finalize software specifications in collaboration with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and developers
• Supervise programmers and automate workflows
• Perform performance tuning and enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible software development experience – including at least 2 years with ETL, Informatica, PL/SQL, DB2, Erwin, SQL Server, Netezza, Oracle, Sales Force Application and Unix
• Or a related Master’s degree with 2 years of software development experience using ETL, Informatica, PL/SQL, DB2, Erwin, SQL Server, Netezza, Oracle, Sales Force Application and Unix
