Rental/Service Outside Sales Representative - Construction Equipment

Position Overview

Barnsco Texas is seeking an experienced Rental/Service Outside Sales Representative to grow our Equipment Division in the Dallas area. You’ll rent, sell, and promote construction equipment, parts, and services while building long-term relationships with contractors, superintendents, and job site managers.

Compensation: Base Salary + Commission + Auto & Cell Phone Allowance | Full-Time | Reports To: Equipment Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Rent and sell Barnsco’s construction equipment, parts, and services.
• Develop new business through cold calls, job site visits, and referrals.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage rental contracts.
• Maintain strong customer relationships for repeat and long-term business.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely deliveries and excellent service.
• Represent Barnsco professionally at trade shows and customer events.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years outside sales experience; construction equipment rental or service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and job site operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM or rental software experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
