Job Description

Position Overview

The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a client-facing role responsible for assisting multiple social media accounts management and the development and execution of campaigns for entertainment productions. The role involves strategy development, content posting, analysis/reporting, campaign planning, production, and advertising operations. The position reports to the Social Media Marketing Manager, may report to the Group Lead, and occasionally to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of client proposals for social media account management plans.
  • Ensure proposals meet client needs and goals.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to create effective, results-driven social media marketing strategies for entertainment productions.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, involving all stakeholders as necessary.
  • Develop and implement submission plans for social media accounts.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across the web and various social media platforms.
  • Engage with users and respond to social media inquiries, messages, and comments.
  • Execute submission plans efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop, curate, and publish content across platforms including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Manage content for multiple production websites concurrently on behalf of the production.
  • Collect and analyze data on social media accounts and campaigns to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct analysis on web activity, social media, word-of-mouth, competition, and other factors.
  • Utilize data analysis to refine social media marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Independently develop social media reports for client presentations.
  • Present reports to clients and communicate results clearly and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop marketing strategies aligned with the company's purpose, mission, and vision.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all client, colleague, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Continuously pursue personal and professional growth while staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Contribute to creating a society overflowing with joy and excitement as part of the company's vision.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards building connections among diverse cultures, languages, and digital platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Social Media Marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with social media trends and current entertainment.
  • Heavy user of social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) both privately and professionally.
  • Interest in and familiarity with Japanese Anime/Manga.
  • Computer proficiency with Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the entertainment industry.
  • Experience with social media advertising.
  • Ability to speak and read Japanese.
