Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is well suited for early-career engineers who are excited to contribute to product development efforts while building hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies, with an emphasis on injection-molded plastics, die castings, and sheet metal parts
• Create and revise 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks
• Support prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements
• Participate in basic project coordination tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and milestone tracking
• Support supplier communication, design reviews, and coordination as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings
• Academic or project experience with design for injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal fabrication
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Eagerness to learn and develop hands-on engineering skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, co-op, or project experience involving supplier or vendor coordination
• Familiarity with basic project management tools or processes
