We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is well suited for early-career engineers who are excited to contribute to product development efforts while building hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies, with an emphasis on injection-molded plastics, die castings, and sheet metal parts
- Create and revise 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks
- Support prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements
- Participate in basic project coordination tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and milestone tracking
- Support supplier communication, design reviews, and coordination as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings
- Academic or project experience with design for injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal fabrication
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Eagerness to learn and develop hands-on engineering skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, or project experience involving supplier or vendor coordination
- Familiarity with basic project management tools or processes
